Changes: Stepping Into Your Power In 2025
Happy New Year! Okay y'all, it's been a minute, and as we undergo our rebranding here at Queenship HQ I look forward to sharing as it continues to develop. How was your 2024? As for me, I have yet to achieve everything on my vision board, however, I did surpass expectations in multiple areas: working for a magazine, modeling (yes, you read that correctly) , spending a week in New York to film a commercial and meeting my favorite author, Cara Alwill.
If you’re not following me on social media, then babe, we have a lot of catching up to do. My biggest achievements were coming off my diabetic medication and not giving up on myself when the road ahead felt impossible. One thing 2024 taught me is that people will only do what you allow them to and you have to be your own protector! Never tear yourself down! Always celebrate your success, small wins are still wins. But, remember, when you're winning, the tea in your testimony isn't as hot to someone with a burning ear for drama. And if drama is what you are looking for then kindly raise your glass elsewhere, you will never get that from me.
“But remember, when you’re winning the tea in your testimony isn’t as hot to someone with a burning ear for drama. ”
1.Keep God First
Establish a daily routine that includes dedicated time for prayer and reflection. Set aside a specific time each day, whether in the morning or evening, to connect with God through prayer, reading scripture, or meditating on spiritual teachings
2. Reflect on the Past Year
Before you can step into your power, it's essential to take a moment to reflect on the past year. Consider keeping a journal to jot down your thoughts. Reflecting helps you understand what worked, what didn’t, and what you can learn from these experiences. This understanding sets the foundation for growth.
3.Use Discernment
Using discernment in relationships and friendships is to set clear intentions for the types of connections you want to cultivate. Reflect on your values and what you seek in relationships—such as trust, support, and mutual respect. Make a conscious effort to engage with individuals who align with these intentions.
4. Cultivate a Growth Mindset
To step into your power, embrace a growth mindset. This means believing that your abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication and hard work. Challenges become opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. Surround yourself with positive influences—people who inspire and uplift you. Feed your mind with books, podcasts, and courses that encourage personal development.
5. Take Action
Lastly, intentions and reflections are powerful, but they must be coupled with action. Break down your goals into manageable steps and create a plan for how you will achieve them. Whether it’s dedicating time each week to work on a new skill or networking with professionals in your field, take consistent, small actions that lead you toward your goals.
As you step into the new year, remember that it’s a time for renewal and empowerment. Reflect on the past, set your intentions, and take actionable steps toward your goals. Embrace change and nurture your well-being. By stepping into your power, you not only transform your own life but can also inspire those around you. Here’s to a year of growth, fulfillment, and stepping boldly into your potential!
