Girl Get Up
Hi Queen,
Welcome to the month of August! I attended an event last month called , The Prepare To Pitch Summit , a local event for content creators to network and get tips from experienced influencers. Though I left feeling inspired and met several amazing young ladies, I was immediately hit with imposter syndrome and anxiety as soon as I even thought about stepping out of my comfort zone. Stepping back into the communications field scared me, because I was let go from my first job in the field before I could even get comfortable enough to put my best foot forward. Honestly, it seems easier to stay down and accept the rejection that you've already received because the unpredictability of success is terrifying. This is one of the main reasons why people choose to stay buried in fear and uncertainty, but perhaps you were planted to grow into someone you never even imagined becoming. Our creator's power is made perfect when we are weak, and it is through Him that we are strong enough to rise.

Girl, get up! Even though I took a step back from working in Communications, God still brought it back to me and I am standing ten toes down on His promise. (Jeremiah 29:11) You’ve been down too long and it’s time for you to get up and try again. Learn to move past where pain met you, to move past where you started giving up who God said you could be. Reignite your fire, your passion for big dreams and not caring when people disappointed you because you believe in the unseen. Allow faith to move your feet and girl, get up!
